Summary: Great location in centre of town with some nearby parking available which was a bonus. Excellent breakfast and dinner and helpful staff. Bathroom was very compact and shower tricky to access so would not suit everyone.

Summary: We had actually booked the Lowen Hotel in Staufen, but were moved to the Goethe because they said they wouldn't be able to serve breakfast at the Lowen due to a staffing issue. Was disappointing as we were really looking forward to staying there. The Goethe is ok. A bit tired and old fashioned looking. Rooms are clean & the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok, but you cannot choose your cheese & meats, they bring you a platter. We would have preferred to choose our own. Not great quality bread rolls, either. Nice coffee & a good selection of cereals/yogurt. As this is an older hotel, there is no lift & we struggled to carry our heavy cases up the stairs. Overall was ok but probably wouldn't stay again.

Summary: Authentic old world charm. Small room, no english cable channels. Comfortable bed. No elevator in the hotel. Be prepared for steps.

Summary: Great location in a beautiful town. Lots of restaurants but be aware that not all open every day so worth checking. Good breakfast despite COVID restrictions on self service. On previous visits breakfast has been exceptional.
